The circulatory system carries gases, nutrients and waste. The system pressure is maintained largely effected by pumping by the heart. The transported materials are contained within the blood and lymph vessels. The heart is a muscular pump with four chambers, two of which receive blood, the courts, and walk for two to the release, the ventricles. C) Tunica Adventitia: is the outermost layer of the wall of a blood vessel. all import It is essentially a layer of connective tissue. The vasa vasorum are the blood vessels of the vascular wall and are most apparent in the tunica adventitia.
Elastic arteries: the arteries with greater body diameter are elastic arteries. These large vessels are also called conducting arteries as carry blood from the heart to the main regions of the body. The elasticity of the arterial wall allows the systolic pressure vessel to absorb and hold for shrinkage, a relatively high pressure during diastole.
Muscular arteries: the arteries with the greatest variation in diameter are the muscular arteries. They are also called arteries distribute blood distribution because the conductive elastic artery for specific body regions.
